Nerea Soltero
Founding director and attorney
Nerea opened the clinic in 2011 after years of watching families in Weld County wait for lawyers they could not afford.

Why a clinic
I opened the clinic after years in a private office, where I saw the same thing every week: a good case, and a family that could not afford to bring it. A sliding scale does not solve that. It does make it smaller.
I still take the first call for many new families. Whatever happens next, they should leave that conversation knowing where they stand.
