Removal defense
When a letter says you must appear
A Notice to Appear starts a case in immigration court. It is not a final order, and there is often more you can do than the letter suggests.
If you or someone you love has received a notice, was stopped, or is being held, call us and say so first. Bring every paper you have, even the ones you do not understand.
We look for the defense that fits: a request for bond, cancellation of removal, a family petition already under way, asylum, or time to find another path. We tell you honestly how strong each one is. No lawyer can promise how a judge will rule.
What we handle
Bond hearings for people in detention
Hearings in immigration court
Cancellation of removal

The first days
What we do in the first week
- 01
Step 1: Read the notice
We find the court date, the charges and the deadlines, and tell you which ones matter most.
- 02
Step 2: Ask for bond
If a person is detained, we request a bond hearing and gather the letters and papers that show they will return to court.
- 03
Step 3: Build the case
We collect records, witnesses and documents, and prepare you to tell your story in your own words.
Every case is different. Nothing here predicts how yours will end.
