Citizenship

From resident to citizen

Naturalization is the last form most families file. It is also the one where a single old mistake can surface, so we read your whole record before we send anything.

We check your time as a resident, your trips abroad and any past arrests or tax problems, then prepare the application and practice the English and civics test with you. We sit beside you at the interview.

We also renew green cards and, where they are still available, work permits and DACA renewals, so that nothing lapses while you wait.

What we handle

  • Naturalization applications

  • English and civics test practice

  • Interview preparation and accompaniment

  • Green card renewals

  • Work permit and DACA renewals where available

  • Fee waivers and reduced fees where they exist

Step by step

The road to the oath

  1. 01

    Step 1: Check eligibility

We count your time as a resident and your time away, and we look at your record together.

  2. 02

    Step 2: File the application

We prepare the form and the evidence and file it with the right fee, or with a fee waiver.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Fingerprints and interview

An appointment for fingerprints, then an interview with the test. We practice both with you.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The oath

A short ceremony, often a few weeks later. Afterward we explain how to use your certificate.
